Effective Date: 04.10.2026
Everly helps you remember things that recur at their own pace. This policy explains what happens to the data you enter.
Everly has no account, no advertising and no tracking. The developer never receives your habits, notes, dates or any other content you enter.
To learn which features are used and to find bugs, Everly sends anonymous usage signals through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in the EU. A signal says, for example, "a habit was created, repeating every month, with a reminder", or "an export failed". It also carries the app and system version and a rough count of your habits (such as "5–9"). It never contains a habit's name, a note or a date.
Signals are not linked to you: TelemetryDeck receives only a random, hashed identifier, not your name, Apple ID, email, IP address or advertising identifier. The data is not used to track you across apps or websites, and it is not sold or shared.
We use the privacy-friendly analytics service TelemetryDeck (provider: TelemetryDeck GmbH, Von-der-Tann-Str. 54, 86159 Augsburg, Germany) to analyze usage data. The use is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, as we require reliable and efficient tools for collecting app usage data in order to fulfill the contract with you, our customer.
The data processed by TelemetryDeck is completely anonymized and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about personal information. The following data is collected, among other things:
The source code of the TelemetryDeck SDK is completely open source and available on GitHub: github.com/TelemetryDeck.
Further information on the exact data processing by TelemetryDeck can be found at: Privacy and Privacy FAQ.
The app does not use advertising or cross-app tracking services.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They are not sent through any server.
Delete a habit in the app, or delete the app. To remove the synced copy too, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage and delete Everly's data.
Everly does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. The anonymous usage signals described above are the same for every user.
